A new episode of webinar series “Lunch at SocialRES “is announced. This time, we will discuss the citizen financing for PV investments in Croatia with Green Energy Cooperative and REGEA.
In the last years, citizens financing and active citizens’ inclusion in the energy market are getting more and more popular. Several initiatives and projects were initiated which have had a positive influence on making citizens the center of the energy transition. In 2021 new laws have been adopted in Croatia which would foster such kinds of initiatives.
In this webinar, Josip Beber from the Green Energy Cooperative and Tijana Šimek from REGEA will present recent developments in the field of citizens` energy, as well as accompanying laws, opportunities and obstacles.
This webinar is part of the SocialRES project, which is a research and innovation project funded by the European Union. Its aim is to foster energy democracy through social innovation and the active collaboration between cooperatives, aggregators of renewable energy and crowdfunding platforms.
