The term \u201cclimate crisis\u201d is now more accurate than \u201cclimate change\u201d to describe this era. Climate disasters and impacts have been experienced all around the world. The most recent IPCC report suggests that the rise in the global temperature has reached 1.1 \u00b0C above pre-industrial levels. 1.5 \u00b0C-goal became a more and more challenging task. Despite the global pandemic, COP26 in Glasgow has therefore drawn enormous interest with the highest number of participants of all time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jung Lin from Lake Constance Foundation has visited COP26 as a NGO-observer. In this report, she summarized \u00a0the key outcomes regarding the energy sector in Glasgow Climate Pact and other multilateral\/bilateral agreements. Another focus of this report lay on the implications of COP26\u00a0 for the social innovation in the energy sector.<\/p>\n
