Lake Constance Foundation

The Lake Constance Foundation is a project-oriented organization for nature conservation. It works towards sustainable economy in the international Lake Constance area and beyond.
Our current projects are:

  • Bioenergy and Regional Climate Protection
  • Economy and Biodiversity

The Lake Constance Foundation represents the Lake Constance in the global lake network Living Lakes.

The Lake Constance Foundation originates from the project "Environmental Protection on Lake Constance" conducted by Deutsche Umwelthilfe in 1994. The co-founders of Lake Constance Foundation are following environmental organizations:

The organization's office is located in Radolfzell, Germany.

The advisory board incorporates about 20 environmental protection alliances from three countries, which form together the Environmental Council of Lake Constance (Umweltrat Bodensee).

As civil law foundation, the Lake Constance Foundation is able to act and cooperate without any political and administrative commitments. In particular, the organization aims at partnerships with small and medium businesses, local authorities and interest groups.
